The San Juan College School of business and the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program will provide free income tax preparation to the community Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, through April 13th. More information and appointments are available at 505-566-3314 and at 970-553-9150.

The CARE Program is a FREE income-qualified energy efficiency program for homeowners and renters in Archuleta and La Plata Counties. Participants receive a free energy audit for their home and free efficiency upgrades such as insulation, air sealing measures and efficient lighting. A Rural Energy Resiliency Forum takes place from 5 to 6:30 on Monday, April 6th at the Ross Aragon Community Center in Pagosa Springs. The meeting will cover grid resilience, electrification incentives, financing opportunities, and why reliable, affordable energy matters to the future of rural communities like Pagosa Springs.
