HIIT stands for High Intense Interval Training. Each class will consist of a demonstration, warm-up, and 10-12 stations where we will focus on a specific body group per station. We will rotate through 3 rounds with a short break between each round. When the work out is over we cool down and stretch.
All equipment will be provided. These HIITs will be outside, please plan accordingly and bring your own water.
This class targets the connective tissue (i.e. joints, bones, and ligaments). We remain in many of the poses longer than in a traditional yoga class which can be challenging for our body as well as our mind. The class may be slower paced, giving our mind time to quiet down, our breath to soften, and our connective tissue to be stimulated. We will experience the balance between movement and stillness. Tools such as blocks and blankets are encouraged for this class. This class is accessible for all levels. The investment for classes is $10.00 for a single class, $45.00 for a 5 pass, and $75.00 for a 10 pass. Checks can be made out to Bayfield Parks and Rec.
