The Durango Education Foundation presents the 32nd annual Pat Murphy Golf for Education tournament at Dalton Ranch on Friday, May 9th at 9AM. Registration is available at durangoeducationfoundation.org. All proceeds benefit 9-R public schools.

Habitat for Humanity of Archuleta County will host a multi distance fun race to kickoff year 4 of their plan to build 15 homes in 5 years. The event takes place in Pagosa Lakes at 10AM on Saturday, May 31st and will include a 5K, 10K and Kids Super Sprint. Online registration is available until May 30th. Participants will view completed Habitat built houses along the course located on Sam Houston Ave and Domicile Circle.

Online registration closes at Noon on May 30. We offer on-site registration on RACE DAY at packet pick-up. Registration fees increase on race day. All proceeds from the event will go toward building materials for our 2025 build season and lunches for 2025 volunteers.

The 51st annual Hardrockers Holidays takes place in Silverton on August 8th, 9th & 10th. It's a series of traditional mining events meant to honor and celebrate Colorado's mining heritage. Their facebook page has a complete lineup of events.

Competitors enter events such as Wheelbarrow Race, Spike Driving, Hand Mucking, and many more. Tug Of War is a team event with separate classes for men and women. This is a family event. There will be a DJ, food and drinks available for purchase, and camping available at the venue.
