Baby Time is tailored for babies from birth-12 months together with their favorite adult!

Enjoy 15-20 minutes of early literacy activities followed by a playgroup. We sing songs, bounce to action rhymes, and share stories, providing a rich environment for babies to hear language and interact with others.

Register at the reference desk, then join us to discuss the book at the library. A free book is available for the first 15 people who register and attend!

Books available six weeks before book club date.

Join us for a relaxed and reflective evening centered around The Book of Shadow Work: Unlock the True You by Keila Shaheen.

This isn't your typical book club, it's a warm, welcoming space for thoughtful conversation, emotional honesty, and meaningful connection with others on the path of self-discovery.

We’ll explore the hidden parts of ourselves we’ve learned to push away, our emotions, patterns, and traits, and begin to see them not as flaws, but as sources of strength.

Expect grounded conversation, practical insights, and a chance to show up just as you are.

🕯️ You don’t need to be an expert, a perfect meditator, or even have finished the book. You just need to be curious.

💬 We’ll talk about things like:
- How to work with emotions like anger or fear
- What “shadow work” really means (and why it matters)
- How to begin showing up as your whole self, in life, love, and leadership

The Pine River Library invites the public to their monthly "Bookmarks" Book Discussion group on the second Wednesday of each month at 2PM. The April selection is: "The Book of Hope" by Jane Goodall and in May: "One of Us is Lying," by Karen McManus. Details are at prlibrary.org.
