A walk to celebrate Public Lands Day is scheduled to take place from 9 to 11AM at Durango's Oxbow Park on Saturday, September 27th.

No dogs allowed. Optional : following the walk write postcards to protect our public lands. Please email Margaret Mayer at mmayer4823@gmail.com to reserve space.

The Good Food Collective invites the public to help with apple harvesting leading up to the October 11th Apple Day Festival.

The Bayfield Heritage Day and Sheep Trailing takes place from 9:30 until 4 on Saturday, September 27th. Events include a 5K fun run, a parade, vendors, music, kids activities and more - at Joe Stephenson Park.

Community Family Yoga

These FREE classes offer a safe and supportive environment for anyone exploring how to navigate addictive tendencies, those who are "sober curious," or individuals in recovery from addiction. We aim to enhance overall well-being and quality of life, regardless of where you are on your journey.

During these classes, you will be offered:

Compassionate discussion on the deeper causes and patterns of addictive habits.
Gentle, body-centered movement, breathwork, and meditation practices to support self-regulation and inner peace.
Practical tools to be used in everyday life that will empower you on your path of healing and self-discovery.
Classes are open to anyone seeking to address their addictive habits or explore a sober-curious lifestyle, whether you are relatively new to the paths of yoga and recovery, or have extensive experience in both.

The Great House Tour goes to the top of the mesa ridge for a 360-degree panoramic view of the landscape and a close-up of the two pinnacles with stops along the way to learn about the ancient Puebloan structures.

Drop in to connect with other families/caregivers and foster a playful environment for preschool aged kids.

Coffee, tea, healthy snacks and a play space are provided.

Purgatory Resort's 60th anniversary Pre-Season Party and Ski Swap occurs on Saturday, September 27th. The Ski Swap is at Hoody’s from 10am–4pm, live music on Purgy’s Patio by Dana Ariel & The Coming Up Roses from 12pm–2:45pm, plus food and drink specials, season pass printing, and exclusive passholder discounts.
Gear drop-off for the Ski Swap is Friday, September 26 from 10am–5pm at Hoody’s. Sellers can choose 100% of the value in store credit to Purg Sports, or 60% of the value via check upon sale.
