Join us as we celebrate the official reveal of the new Lyons Sandstone pathways in the Pine River Library Community Garden! These are not only a beautiful improvement to the garden, but along with a new front gate, they provide ADA compliance and accessibility for those using wheelchairs or strollers. In addition to potluck finger food, we will have live music and activities.
This semi-formal event invites off-road enthusiasts and music lovers alike to enjoy an evening inspired by country sounds and genuine connections.

The Durango Arts Center presents the exhibit “Nature’s Tapestry in Plein Air” (Plein rhymes with ten) through October 25, 2025 in the Barbara Conrad Gallery. 44 works by local artists are on exhibit along with 10 entries from the Quick Draw competition. The Durango Contradance Series begins at 7:30 pm on Saturday, September 20th at La Plata Senior Center, with live music by the Fractal String Band. All ages and abilities are welcome and no partner is required.

Nick is a single, Italian-American guy from New Jersey. His parents retired and moved to Florida. That doesn’t mean his family isn’t still in Jersey. In fact, he sees both sets of his grandparents every Sunday for dinner. This is routine until he has to tell them that he’s been offered a dream job that would take him away from his beloved, but annoying, grandparents.
