The Ignacio Community Church's Clothing Closet will provide free clothing, jackets and shoes to the needy every Tuesday and Friday from 10 until 2 at the ELHI Community Center.

It’s time for Build Pagosa’s Annual Charity Auction and Dinner. It’ll be on Friday, April 17th. The event raises money for Career and Technical Education programs and the future construction of the Regional Training Center. This facility will allow Build Pagosa to extend training to adults in our community. The event will be held at the Pagosa Springs Community Center, located at 451 Hot Springs Boulevard in Pagosa Springs.The evening begins at 5:00 PM with live music and a silent auction. Following a buffet provided by Chef Todd and Farago Catering, the live auction will begin!Tickets can be purchased online at buildpagosa.org under the events tab, or at the door.Come join the fun and help build your community's future!
The All Our Kin Collective at Fort Lewis College invite the public to "A Celebration of Indigenous Languages: Languages in All Directions," on Friday and Saturday, April 17th and 18th at the Fort Lewis College Skyhawk Station. Details are at theallourkincollective.com.
Friday begins with a free community dinner, a keynote by Trisha Moquino, and films by Indigenous youth. Saturday features panels on language reclamation, community discussions, and an open mic celebrating Indigenous poetry.

The Durango contradance series continues on Saturday, April 18th at the La Plata senior center. Deb comly calls dances with live music by Tom Wards Downfall. Lessons begin at 7:30pm , the dance at 8. Sliding scale donation $10-$20 with all ages welcome. More info at 802-345-2902.
Healthy Archuleta will host the 2026 Archuleta Food Summit on Saturday, April 18th, from 7:45 AM to 1:00 PM at the Pagosa Springs High School.
The Summit is a community gathering that brings together neighbors, growers, youth, business, and partners to explore ways to strengthen Archuleta County’s local food system.
This year’s Summit focuses on the Archuleta Community Food Hub & Food Hall, a community-driven project designed to expand opportunities for local producers, support small food businesses, and strengthen food access and economic resilience in our region.
