“The Power of Stories”
The 7th-grade students at Mountain Middle School would like to cordially invite the public to their upcoming exhibition of learning on Thursday, December 11th, from 6 to 7 pm at the La Plata County Fairgrounds.
“The Power of Stories” is an exhibition that transcends content boundaries. From science to digital media, art, and humanities classes, students have examined the importance of storytelling and collective learning to help us better understand the past and present while working together to build a more resilient future. Students will showcase their documentary film and a series of paintings in addition to individual work, including family migration story projects and environmental campaigns. We hope to see you there! For more information, contact Nancy at nancy.wickham@mountainmiddleschool.org.
