The public may honor the lives of military veterans at Durango's Greenmount Cemetery by purchasing a wreath at bluestarmomsofdurango.org. The deadline to purchase a wreath is Friday, November 28, for placement in December.
Checks can be mailed to Blue Star Moms of Durango, PO Box 874, Bayfield, CO 81122. Wreaths Across America remembers, honors and teaches about our fallen military heroes.
The 28th annual Artisans Holiday show takes place at the Strater Hotel Oak Room from 9 to 4 on Saturday, November 22nd.
Jewelry, fiber art, bee products, painted eggs, gourd art, ornaments, original paintings, and much more. Door prizes will be given away every hour.

The Durango Food Bank Holiday Food Drive takes place from 10 until 4 on Saturday, November 22nd at the Durango Wal Mart. The following items are requested:Baking Mixes, Canned Vegetables, Pasta Sauce, Instant Potatoes, Salad Dressing, Condiments and gift cards to allow families to purchase a turkey or ham.
