Learn the art of letterpress by making your own Valentine’s cards. Spend the day in the beautifully restored Mancos Common Press. Learn to set type, ink, and print on an antique letterpress. Use historic image blocks and fonts to craft your own unique and personal holiday cards.

The Durango Public Library will host a Death Cafe at 4PM on Monday, January 26th.The objective is to increase awareness of death, with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives.
A Death Café is a group directed discussion of death; it is not a grief support group.
The Death Café offers an accessible, respectful and confidential space where strangers gather to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death. Death Cafés are open to, and respectful of, people of all communities and belief systems.

In this informal, free meetup we create awareness and harmony between the mind and body that allows us to remove stress and anxiety. We use our breath to move deeper into our body while warming, lengthening, and strengthening our muscles.
All you need is a yoga mat and a water bottle. Some yoga tools such as blocks, a blanket and a strap are encouraged.

Health Without Barriers is a FREE 6-week family wellness program for families with teens ages 11 to 19. This program meets twice a week on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 5:30-7:45 PM, from September 9th through October 15th, at the Pine River Senior Center in Bayfield.
Program components include:Interactive health and wellness education for familiesHands-on cooking and nutrition classes (groceries provided to take home!)Physical activity sessions for teens and siblingsStress management and mindfulness trainingFamily support education for parents
The ENTIRE family is welcome - siblings of all ages can participate, and dinner is provided at every session. This is a collaborative program between Colorado State University Extension and CSU's Department of Human Development and Family Studies.
