The session is free to attend, but a $25 suggested donation is greatly appreciated. All proceeds go toward caring for our rescue cats! Don't forget to bring your own mat!

Japanese Tea Ceremony is known for its meditative and "in the moment" wellness attributes. Learn
about tea ceremony's history, philosophy, and wellness qualities. Participants will watch
a ceremony, learn how to make matcha tea properly, and enjoy a Japanese sweet with
matcha. PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED.

The Durango Public Library will host a Death Café at 4PM on Monday, January 27th. The event is a group directed discussion of death; it is not a grief support group. The objective is to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives.

The program offers an accessible, respectful and confidential space where strangers gather to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death. The Downtown Durango Children's Halloween is a free event for kids 10 and under, on Friday, October 31st, from 4 to 6PM: including a trick-or-treat opportunity with 75 plus businesses, a Children's Carnival & Trunk-or-Treat at the TBK Bank parking lot, games and more.
