Community Calendar

The public is invited to the Ignacio Community Library's Grief Support Group at 3PM on the first Tuesday of each month. More information is at ignaciolibrary.org.

Led by Sara Barnes, LPC from Hospice of Mercy. This is not a group that demands a regular commitment; it’s a supportive space available whenever you need it most... to connect with others who understand what you’re going through. If you’re feeling overwhelmed or just need a little extra support, we’re here for you. Don’t hesitate to come and find comfort among those who care.

La Plata Electric Association will host "Coffee with Chris and the Ignacio Chamber of Commerce" at 8AM on Wednesday, February 4th at the Sky Ute Casino. LPEA's CEO Chris Hansen will be on hand, and the public is invited to an informal gathering to share thoughts and ideas, and ask questions.

There's no formal agenda—just an informal gathering where your co-op leadership listens to you!

The Durango Arts Center presents the exhibit Leonard Davies: The Joys of Painting as a Pastime January 9 - February 28, 2026 in the Barbara Conrad Gallery. Davies retired from a distinguished career as a civil rights attorney, and began oil painting at the age of 70. His show features southwest landscapes, and is free to the public Tuesday - Saturday, Noon - 6 pm. An opening reception will take place from 5-7 pm, Friday, January 9.

Free music every Thursday at Uncle’s Bar and Social Club. Pagosa’s newest bar and best local gathering place. House band Connie the Soldier and musicians welcome for an open jam. Folk, Americana, and Celtic music.

The Ignacio Community Church's Clothing Closet will provide free clothing, jackets and shoes to the needy every Tuesday and Friday from 10 until 2 at the ELHI Community Center.

Equality Pagosa hosts a "Stand Up Saturday" event from noon until 2PM every week in the public parking lot next to the Ruby Sisson Library.

Everyone is invited to exercise their 1st Amendment rights at these gatherings.
