This is the monthly water meeting of NDDWC in Navajo Dam NM. Monthly meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month unless otherwise posted.
Winter Hours start in September through March meeting times are 4pm-5pm
Spring/Summer Hours: April through August 6pm- 7pm

After enjoying the Twin Buttes scenic single track head down to the farm stand to grab local ingredients for a delicious meal. Fresh locally grown Durango produce, fruits, grass fed beef and local honey.Additionally we have free range eggs and fresh artisan cheeses.
The Parent/Caregiver Workshop Series continues at 5:30 on Wednesday, October 15th at the Hive in Durango, with the subject "Don't Make it Weird - Being Who Youth Need Us to Be."Dinner & childcare will be provided. Details are at teamupsw.org.

West Coast Swing is a partner dance that can be danced to a wide variety of music. Our 6 Week Basics of West Coast Swing Class begin August 25th.

The 7th-grade humanities class at Mountain Middle School would like to cordially invite the public to its first exhibition of the year. The exhibition, entitled “The Evolution of Storytelling,” will feature group presentations and author book talks. The event will showcase a collection of student work, including short story multimedia projects and artwork. Throughout this project, students have grappled with questions like Why do Humans tell stories? How has storytelling evolved? and Why do our stories matter? Join us as we attempt to answer these important questions through the perspective of our 7th-grade storytellers. The exhibition is on Thursday, October 16th, at Mountain Middle School from 5-6:00 pm. Join Colorado novelist and adventure writer Peter Heller for our 2025 Literature Festival Author Keynote event! The evening will start at 6pm with an author meet and greet, followed by an author talk and book signing. Drinks and hors d'oeuvres provided by Farm to Fingers and Star Liquors. For those unable to attend in person, the event will be live streamed via Zoom.

The public is invited to the annual Navajo-Churro Sheep Association annual meeting, taking place on Friday and Saturday (10/17 & 18) at McGee Park in Farmington.Events include a fleece & wool show, weaving, spinning and dyeing demos, refreshments and more.
