Every Thursday join us for Xbox, PlayStation, Oculus, food, and fun!

Join us in the community room for games (Xbox, Oculus, Roblox, etc), activities, music, and snacks! On the third Thursday of each month, watch for something special: possibly cooking, maybe international snacks - who knows?!

Come enjoy interesting, new foods from all over the world and blow off some steam taking turns playing Beat Saber on the Oculus!

Bring a craft to work on and get 25% off glasses of our locally produced wines. please no projects involving paint or glitter...

Join us for make and take projects! This program is geared toward a teen skill level but is open to all.

The Animas Valley Grange invites the public to bring surplus garden produce to the Grange on Thursdays from 4:30 to 6 pm, from July 24th through October 2nd. The items will then be distributed to community members in need of fresh veggies and fruit.

The Animas Valley Grange is located at 7271 Country Road 203, about 1 miles north of the Durango Hot Springs. For more information call Deb at 970-317-8162.

The Montezuma Orchard Restoration Project will offer heritage apple trees for sale at the Third Thursdays events in Montezuma Park, Cortez at 5 PM.

The Center of Southwest Studies at Fort Lewis College will host a free screening of the documentary “We are Learning from You," about contemporary Diné textile, fiber artist, sheepherder, and farmer, Kevin Aspaas.
The event takes place on Thursday, September 18th, starting at 5PM with light refreshments, followed by the screening at 6.

the film highlights Aspaas’ traditional practices and cultural artistry against the backdrop of ever-shifting environmental factors, such as water availability and running an agricultural enterprise.

Known for his work with the Navajo wedge weave technique, Aspaas practices a process he calls “sheep to loom,” which entails gathering and spinning wool from the small flock of Navajo-Churro sheep he raises in Shiprock, New Mexico. In addition to spinning his own yarn, Aspaas works exclusively with natural dyes.

The event will include remarks with the artist and filmmaker.
