Kick off spring in Durango at the Spring in the Rockies Arts & Crafts Festival! This lively event features a curated selection of local and regional artisans showcasing handmade jewelry, fine art, home décor, specialty foods, and unique gifts. Stroll through booths, meet the makers, and enjoy a festive, community-focused atmosphere in the heart of the Rockies. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the season and support local creativity. The event will take place at the La Plata County Fairgrounds and Events Center on Saturday, March 28, from 9-3pm, and on Sunday, March 29, from 10am -2 pm. Over 70 vendors will be in attendance. The Durango Arts Center and Our Own Lives presents the second annual exhibit Disability Art Show, through April 4th in the Barbara Conrad Gallery. Our Own Lives is a non-profit organization that provides direct services to the disability community in Southwest Colorado. Their show features work by more than two dozen local artists. , and is free to the public Tuesday - Saturday, Noon - 6 pm.

The San Juan College School of business and the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program will provide free income tax preparation to the community Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, through April 13th. Workout using your own body weight or light hand weights to work all the body parts! The free classes are always similar in style but always different moves to keep it fun and fresh. You’ll need a yoga mat & light hand weights. If you don’t have them, they are extras that can be used. Each class is around 35 min. long. Modifications are always available. It’s always a fun, upbeat, encouraging, and a great workout. Taught by Tammy Williams, certified fitness instructor. All ages and fitness levels are welcome!
