Equality Pagosa hosts a "Stand Up Saturday" event from noon until 2PM every week in the public parking lot next to the Ruby Sisson Library.
Everyone is invited to exercise their 1st Amendment rights at these gatherings.
Bring your family, your friends, your other neighbors, your chair, your pet, your favorite sign or borrow one of ours. Let’s make some noise!

The Center of Southwest Studies at Fort Lewis College invites the public to a Summer Solstice Window Viewing & Sunrise Cyanotypes.The event starts at 5:45AM on Sunday, June 21st.From 8:45 to 10:30AM, a cyanotype class will take place in the courtyard. All supplies will be provided and both events are free.

(5:45-7:30 AM) Join us in celebrating the summer solstice on Sunday, June 21. At the dawn of the solstice, a spiral of sunlight from the Center's solstice window makes its way across the gallery walls. Arrive early to ensure you don't miss the impressive display.
(8:45-10:30 AM) As the sun reaches the building, you are invited to join us in creating a cyanotype print in the Center’s courtyard! All supplies will be provided, but bringing personal knickknacks and small objects is encouraged.
The solstice window was designed to integrate with the building’s architecture as a tribute to the solstice markers of the Ancestral Puebloans of Southwest Colorado.
All are welcome! Whether you have been knitting and/or crocheting for years or you would like to learn, we are happy to have you and will do our best to help you get started.

Workout using your own body weight or light hand weights to work all the body parts! The free classes are always similar in style but always different moves to keep it fun and fresh. You’ll need a yoga mat & light hand weights. If you don’t have them, they are extras that can be used. Each class is around 35 min. long. Modifications are always available. It’s always a fun, upbeat, encouraging, and a great workout. Taught by Tammy Williams, certified fitness instructor. All ages and fitness levels are welcome!
