Writers and Scribblers is a group for writers of all kinds to learn, practice, and share the art and craft of writing. Our main purpose is to try to help each other through the maze of things you must do as writers; from writing to editing and on to publishing and marketing your books, short stories, essays, or anything else. Discussion topics will vary and sometimes repeat depending upon the needs of the members at the time.

"WE CONTINUE" shares the stories of three Native American women - in a performance blending music, theater, and history with works by Native American composers. This free event is at the Connie Gotsch Theatre at San Juan College in Farmington at 5:30 on Thursday, November 13th.

The Alpine Bank Youth Photography Showcase is open to all middle and high school students in La Plata County, offering a chance to exhibit their talent in a professional setting. Details are at at PhotoShowdown.org.
Each chosen student will receive two complimentary tickets to attend the main event on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Fort Lewis College.
