Friday afternoons are all about having fun building, playing, exploring, and creating together!
Friday Fun is a weekly after-school program that blends creativity and curiosity through hands-on experiences. Each week alternates between art-focused activities and STEM challenges. Drop in and end your week with fun!

Friday afternoons are all about having fun building, playing, exploring, and creating together! 1st Friday of the month: STEM, 2nd & 4th Friday: LEGO, 3rd Friday: Art. If there's a 5th Friday, we'll let you know what it will be! Great for ages 5-12 and families!
NOTE: The library will be closed on November 28th.
It’s like an escape room only you don’t escape, and we have drinks! Follow the clues and beat the clock to find the treasure. Most Fridays. Must register online in advance.
May 02 Saturday
The 26th Annual Alien Run Mountain Bike Race takes place at 8AM on Saturday, May 2nd. Early bird registration for this family friendly event ends on Tuesday, March 31st.Details are at alienrun.com.
We have distances for everyone and youth categories. The race will be followed by a party and awards ceremony at 550 Brewing. Each racer gets a free meal and drink ticket. Aztec Trails and Open Space the only human (and horse) powered trail group in Aztec.
The Music in the Mountains Community Student Concert takes place at 4PM on Saturday, May 2nd, in the Roshong Recital Hall at Fort Lewis College.No tickets or RSVP are necessary; a reception will follow.
Nearly 30 students will be performing, ranging in all ages and across a wide variety of instruments.
May 04 Monday
Drop in to connect with other families/caregivers and foster a playful environment for preschool aged kids.
Coffee, tea, healthy snacks and a play space are provided.
Pine River Library Children's Area
Kids, families, and caregivers, join us for special activities each week! Unleash your creativity: tie-dye, paint, and create!
NOTE: Open to all but younger children will need assistance with the projects. This is a drop-in event and participants may come and go as they please - no registration required. Interested teens are also welcome to come.
This program will be held in the library park, weather permitting.
Build, create, and imagine at LEGO Club!
Join us for LEGO Club, a space for kids ages 5–12 who love to build, tinker, sort, and imagine! Using the library’s LEGO collection, design your own creations, take on building challenges, or collaborate with friends on bigger projects.
No registration required. Just drop in and start building!
