The San Juan Mountains Association's Durango Nature Center is once again open to the public on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 9 until 2. Sjma.org has more information.
This 140-acre conservation easement is situated along the Florida River, this special place traverses riparian, sagebrush, and pinyon juniper ecosystems. With hiking trails, river play, a picnic pavilion, interpretive trails, a nesting bird walk and more. No pets, please.

Old West Cowboy Music Show and Chuckwagon Supper.

Each session students will discover fun and different mediums and concepts while creating extremely unique art projects! Classes offer fun, non competitive opportunities to explore new skills and individual expression. For questions, please email Deena Carney, Director of Art and Education at deena@durangoarts.org. Come and celebrate all forms of gaming! Table-top gaming, console video games, Roblox, Minecraft, Pokémon Go, and more! Computers are provided, but gamers can bring their own laptop or Switches if they prefer. This program is geared for grades 3+ but younger children are welcome to attend with a caregiver.
Please arrange transport with the School District if you would like your child to ride the bus to the library after school. Parents or guardians of children below 6th grade must register their children in order for them to attend after school programs.
