The Durango Arts Center presents the 2026 Kids Follies with talented youth dancers, singers, musicians, and comedians. There are performances at 7 pm, Saturday, January 17 and 2 pm, Sunday January 18. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students and can be purchased at www.durangoarts.org

All kids can pick up a free snack pack in the library. This program is sponsored by local churches, the Town of Bayfield, Pine River Shares, and the Friends of the Library. It is hosted by Bayfield students!
The Early Childhood Council of La Plata County and the Durango Public Library invite parents, caregivers, and their preschoolers to a free six-part workshop series focused on preparing young children for kindergarten.
Each session will explore important areas of school readiness, with hands-on activities that build early literacy, math, motor, and social-emotional skills.
Preschool participants will receive a free book and fun materials to support their learning journey (one per family, while supplies last).
To get the most benefit from the series, we encourage families to attend all six sessions.
