Participatory Budgeting Initiative; Success for Food-Security Projects in Archuleta County

Rose Chavez

The first large scale participatory budgeting initiative in Colorado recently took place in Archuleta County. Tami Graham spoke with Drew Brown of Educe Consulting back in November 2020 about the initiative, and again today for an update, now that the budgeting process is complete.

Also joining the conversation is Rose Chavez, a Healthy Communities Advocate in Archuleta County, who shares additional information on the impact the initiative has had on funding and support for several food-security projects.
