Create Art and Tea is now hosting First Friday. First Friday is an effort to bring art and charitable foundations together. On the First Friday of every month, Create Art and Tea will host an art opening featuring new artists. Featured artists will choose a charity to support. A portion of the proceeds made from purchased art will go to the organization of choice. On opening night, you can expect light refreshments, live musical performances, the opportunity to meet the artists, and hear about the charitable organizations. The works for sale will remain in the loft area of the gallery for the remaining duration of each month. The ELHI Community Center in Ignacio will host their 10th Annual Harvest Festival from 5 to 8 on Friday, October 3rd. Events will include a car show, food, music, and community spirit.

The ELHI Community Center in Ignacio will host a weekly Community Block Party from 5 to 7 every Friday from June 6th through October 13th.
The events will showcase handmade goods, homegrown produce by local farmers, plus artisans, crafters and more. Theelhiignacio.org has more information.

4 Corners Tabletop Night is a place for tabletop gamers in the 4 Corners area to meet up and get their miniatures to the table. We play a variety of games and welcome players of all skill levels. The Durango Arts Center presents the exhibit “Nature’s Tapestry in Plein Air” (Plein rhymes with ten) through October 25, 2025 in the Barbara Conrad Gallery. 44 works by local artists are on exhibit along with 10 entries from the Quick Draw competition. So naturally, we wanted to make one for you to come experience in our one-of-a-kind Subterrain space. Fans of escape rooms will love this…especially the fans who wish they could enjoy a libation - alcoholic or non - while hunting for clues and trying to beat the clock!

The Good Food Collective and Durango Tool Library have teamed up to help with local fruit harvesting, to reduce human-bear conflict, eliminate food waste, and directly address food security.

The Archuleta Health Fair & Expo takes place on Saturday, October 4th, from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Pagosa Springs High School.
The event will include low-cost wellness labs and connections to primary preventive care, a farm-to-table lunch with a keynote speaker, interactive exhibits and more.

The Bayfield Farmers Market takes place on Saturdays from 8 until noon - and on Tuesdays from 4 to 7 - at 1328 County Road 501, through October 25th.
