The ELHI Community Center in Ignacio will host the Easter "Hop & Shop" vendor market and nighttime Easter Egg hunt for teens. Events take place from 6 to 9PM on Friday, March 27th and include a bounce house, face painting, crafts, games and more. Theelhiignacio.org has more information.
Once the sun goes down, the flashlights will come out and we'll send the teens on an after dark Egg Hunt for 2000 eggs courtesy of XMission and the Ironwood Youth Leadership Project.

The non-profit Durango Dance Studio will host the dinner theatre performance "Midnight Garden" at 7PM on Friday & Saturday, March 27th & 28th. Durangodance.com has more information.
La Plata County's only 501c3 dance studio. Dance students perform choreographed work and classical variations while Durango Dance directors, parents, and board share our vision. All audience members get a front row seat in this performance in the round, as well as dinner and drinks included in the ticket price.

The Durango Arts Center presents Trey Parker’s Cannibal! The Musical!, running March 20th through the 29th! Based on the true story of Alfred Packer. The play is 65 minutes of dark comedy, big laughs, wild adventure, and toe-tapping music. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door with, $20 student tickets. Recommended audiences are 16 and up, due to mature content. Show times, dates, and tickets are online at www.durangoarts.org under the Performing Arts Tab. This show is the first of the 2026 Durango Arts Repertory Arts season celebrating "The State We’re In" for 150 years of Colorado Statehood.

A Homebuyer Education Class takes place at the Pine River Library in Bayfield from 8:30 to 4:30 on Saturday, March 28th.Topics covered include budgeting, credit, insurance, lending, real estate, and more. Homesfund.org has more information.

The 2nd annual "Spring in the Rockies" Arts & Crafts Festival takes place from 9 to 3 on Saturday and from 10 until 2 on Sunday at La Plata County Fairgrounds, featuring local and regional jewelry, fine art, home décor, specialty foods, and more.
Over 70 vendors will be in attendance. Local food and door prizes will be offered.
