Durango Botanic Gardens will host its annual Gardens on Tour event from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 27. NEW THIS YEAR, for the month of April ONLY, we are offering an early bird discount. More than 400 visitors are expected to explore eight inspiring private and public gardens across our community.Discover pollinator-friendly, water-wise landscapes filled with native plants, bold colors, and rich textures. See creative solutions for gardening with wildlife, and enjoy tranquil water features designed for peace and reflection. The tour also includes a stop at Durango Hot Springs, a certified wildlife sanctuary where nature and guests exist in harmony.This self-guided tour begins at the Durango Public Library, where participants receive a guidebook with garden locations. Proceeds support the Durango Public Library.
Community Family Yoga
Equality Pagosa hosts a "Stand Up Saturday" event from noon until 2PM every week in the public parking lot next to the Ruby Sisson Library.
Everyone is invited to exercise their 1st Amendment rights at these gatherings.

Workout using your own body weight or light hand weights to work all the body parts! The free classes are always similar in style but always different moves to keep it fun and fresh. You’ll need a yoga mat & light hand weights. If you don’t have them, they are extras that can be used. Each class is around 35 min. long. Modifications are always available. It’s always a fun, upbeat, encouraging, and a great workout. Taught by Tammy Williams, certified fitness instructor. All ages and fitness levels are welcome! Drop in to connect with other families/caregivers and foster a playful environment for preschool aged kids.
Coffee, tea, healthy snacks and a play space are provided.

NOTE: Open to all but younger children will need assistance with the projects. This is a drop-in event and participants may come and go as they please - no registration required. Interested teens are also welcome to come.
