KSUT 40th Anniversary Concert Series Continues Friday With Town Mountain

Join us at the Henry Strater Theatre for an evening of hard-driving string-band music from Carolina.

KSUT celebrates 40 years of public radio in the Four Corners with a year-long series of shows.

The next in the series is this Friday night, as we welcome the Carolina string band Town Mountain to Durango and KSUT.

The award-winning band from Asheville, North Carolina is alternatively described as a string band and a bluegrass band. They have a rootsy, hard-driving sound, and they're known for their electrifying live performances.

Town Mountain plays this Friday night (May 13) at the Henry Strater Theatre. Tickets are almost sold-out, but there still a few seats available at Southwest Sound, for $20.

Town Mountain will also play a live KSUT Session on-air this Friday afternoon.
