No rules, just writing!

Each month a member of the group will bring an article for discussion.

Participants also have the option to bring two pages of their own writing to read aloud, but it’s not required. If you’d like to read your own writing, please bring it in manuscript format.

In this informal, free meetup we create awareness and harmony between the mind and body that allows us to remove stress and anxiety. We use our breath to move deeper into our body while warming, lengthening, and strengthening our muscles.

All you need is a yoga mat and a water bottle. Some yoga tools such as blocks, a blanket and a strap are encouraged.

The Ignacio Community Church's Clothing Closet will provide free clothing, jackets and shoes to the needy every Tuesday and Friday from 10 until 2 at the ELHI Community Center.

Start your day with a rejuvenating sound bath designed to soothe your body, clear your energy, and uplift your spirit—setting the tone for a balanced and inspired day ahead. As you lie back and relax, you’ll be immersed in the soothing tones of alchemy crystal bowls and other harmonic instruments. The resonant frequencies work on a cellular level to calm the nervous system, release stagnant energy and promote a profound sense of well-being.

Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, or anything else for your comfort. Extra mats, blankets, and eye pillows will be available. These classes are free, but donations are welcome!

All kids can pick up a free snack pack in the library. This program is sponsored by local churches, the Town of Bayfield, Pine River Shares, and the Friends of the Library. It is hosted by Bayfield students!

The Durango Arts Center presents the exhibit Leonard Davies: The Joys of Painting as a Pastime January 9 - February 28, 2026 in the Barbara Conrad Gallery. Davies retired from a distinguished career as a civil rights attorney, and began oil painting at the age of 70. His show features southwest landscapes, and is free to the public Tuesday - Saturday, Noon - 6 pm. An opening reception will take place from 5-7 pm, Friday, January 9.
