The Cult Movie Federation of Mancos will host a screening of "It's a Wonderful Life" on Thursday, December 18th. Doors open at 6 and attendees are urged to bring non-perishable food items for Mancos Food Share to distribute to needy local residents. Advance tickets are available at the Mancos Public Library.

Durango Aikido invites adults 18 and up to learn Aikido. Win the battles within as Aikido teaches self-refinement through self-defense. The 12-week course begins January 19th, 2026 and offers several affordable pricing packages. Durango Aikido is a 501c3 nonprofit proudly serving the community since 2002. Workout using your own body weight or light hand weights to work all the body parts! The free classes are always similar in style but always different moves to keep it fun and fresh. You’ll need a yoga mat & light hand weights. If you don’t have them, they are extras that can be used. Each class is around 35 min. long. Modifications are always available. It’s always a fun, upbeat, encouraging, and a great workout. Taught by Tammy Williams, certified fitness instructor. All ages and fitness levels are welcome! Baby Time is tailored for babies from birth-12 months together with their favorite adult! Enjoy 15-20 minutes of early literacy activities followed by a playgroup. We sing songs, bounce to action rhymes, and share stories, providing a rich environment for babies to hear language and interact with others.
