Now in its 4th year, "Nashville Songs and Stories - Writers in the Round" brings award-winning songwriters to the stage to reveal the stories behind their hit songs, then perform them as originally written. The artists change every year, and are writers for artists such as Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Aerosmith, LOCASH, Rascal Flatts and others.
All proceeds benefit La Plata County Search and Rescue.

The Southwest Community Foundation will host a fundraiser for the Archuleta County Non-Profit Fund. The event takes place at 5 at the Pagosa Springs Golf Club, featuring live music from Soul Fire, along with a Silent Auction and Bar-B-Q.
$10 ticket supports local nonprofits.
There will be a drinks for purchase. No outside food/drinks or pets allowed.

The Animas City Night Bazaar takes place in Memorial Park from 4 until 9 on Friday, August 29th.The event includes local music, art, food, kids activities and more.

Four free concerts will be held on select Fridays throughout the summer at Swanny City Park. The free concerts are open to the public, and folks are encouraged to come with their friends and families. Beer and wine will be available for the adults. The concert stage will be set up adjacent to the pavilion, providing a perfect picnic spot for all under the large cottonwoods and a playground for the kiddos. We encourage everyone to walk, bike, or use the MAT to attend the concerts. Showtime is 6 to 9 PM. Opening acts begin at 6 PM. Main Stage performers will start at 7 PM. KZMU Community Radio will livestream on 90.1 FM and kzmu.org.
