This program is for teens grades 6+
Come and celebrate all forms of gaming! Board games, console video games, Roblox, Minecraft, and more! Some computers are provided, but gamers can bring their own laptop or gaming devices if they prefer. This program is geared for grades 3+ but younger children are welcome to attend with a caregiver.
Please arrange transport with the School District if you would like your child to ride the bus to the library after school. Parents or guardians of children below 6th grade must register their children in order for them to attend after school programs. Registration is now open for the Aikido Starter Session hosted by Durango Shin Budo Kai, a 501c3 nonprofit offering nonviolent conflict mitigation to the Four Corners since 2002. Workout using your own body weight or light hand weights to work all the body parts! The free classes are always similar in style but always different moves to keep it fun and fresh. You’ll need a yoga mat & light hand weights. If you don’t have them, they are extras that can be used. Each class is around 35 min. long. Modifications are always available. It’s always a fun, upbeat, encouraging, and a great workout. Taught by Tammy Williams, certified fitness instructor. All ages and fitness levels are welcome! Each month on the third Wednesday at noon we'll gather together and share a potluck of recipes from a chosen cookbook, chef, or cuisine!
