Registration is now open for the Aikido Starter Session hosted by Durango Shin Budo Kai, a 501c3 nonprofit offering nonviolent conflict mitigation to the Four Corners since 2002. Workout using your own body weight or light hand weights to work all the body parts! The free classes are always similar in style but always different moves to keep it fun and fresh. You’ll need a yoga mat & light hand weights. If you don’t have them, they are extras that can be used. Each class is around 35 min. long. Modifications are always available. The ELHI Community Center in Ignacio will host a weekly Community Block Party from 5 to 7 every Friday from June 6th through October 13th.

4 Corners Tabletop Night is a place for tabletop gamers in the 4 Corners area to meet up and get their miniatures to the table. We play a variety of games and welcome players of all skill levels. San Juan Mountains Association will host a talk on ultralight backpacking and the best ways to incorporate Leave No Trace practices at Pine Needle Mountaineering at 6PM on Friday, September 5th. Food and beverages will be included, as well as a raffle and giveaways.
