The Ignacio Community Church's Clothing Closet will provide free clothing, jackets and shoes to the needy every Tuesday and Friday from 10 until 2 at the ELHI Community Center.

Enjoy four days of shopping, food, and community at the Park 2 Park Artisan and Food Market, held in Town Park and the Athletic Fields in downtown Pagosa Springs. Featuring handmade arts and crafts, unique artisan goods, and a variety of food vendors, this popular summer market is a favorite for locals and visitors alike.
Equality Pagosa hosts a "Stand Up Saturday" event from noon until 2PM every week in the public parking lot next to the Ruby Sisson Library.
Everyone is invited to exercise their 1st Amendment rights at these gatherings.
Bring your family, your friends, your other neighbors, your chair, your pet, your favorite sign or borrow one of ours. Let’s make some noise!

The public is invited to the Durango Bird Club Wednesday Bird Walks, every week, starting at 8AM on April 1st and running through September 30th.Those interested may meet at the painted wall in the Botanic Gardens in front of the Durango Public Library.
Enjoy the sights and sounds of our local birds. These guided walks are free, and beginners and experienced birders are welcome to join. Please bring your own binoculars.

The 72nd annual Gem and Mineral Show takes place on Friday, July 10th through Sunday, July 12th at La Plata County Fairgrounds.The event will include over 60 local and international dealers, along with kids activities, food trucks and more. More information is at durangorocks.org.

We’ll have kids activities, “gold” panning, and junior geology kits. A silent auction with hundreds of items.10-6 Friday and Saturday, 10-4 on Sunday. Admission is $5 per day for visitors 12 and over. Volunteers get free admission.
