KSUT's Wildfire Resources Page: Find Updated Info on Fires, Smoke Impacts

Jerry McBride/Durango Herald

We compiled a list of links to local, regional, and national fire agencies. You can track active wildfires, smoke effects, and see fire forecasts. Also included is information on wildfire science and adopting fire safety principles.

Wildfire season is here. Smoke from distant fires is affecting the Four Corners and the Durango Interagency Dispatch Center lists numerous "smoke checks" on their daily activity reports. Southwest Colorado is in an extreme drought and in the middle of a prolonged heat wave.

KSUT's Wildfire Resources page includes updated information about wildfires in the Four Corners region, Colorado, and the West. We've also included some general information about wildfire.

All links were updated May 25, 2021. KSUT is not responsible for changed links or the accuracy of the information provided at the linked sites.
