Join Colorado novelist and adventure writer Peter Heller for our 2025 Literature Festival Author Keynote event! The evening will start at 6pm with an author meet and greet, followed by an author talk and book signing. Drinks and hors d'oeuvres provided by Farm to Fingers and Star Liquors. For those unable to attend in person, the event will be live streamed via Zoom.
Heller is the national best-selling author of The Last Ranger (2023), a vibrant, lyrical mystery set in Yellowstone National Park.
The Durango Arts Center presents the exhibit “Nature’s Tapestry in Plein Air” (Plein rhymes with ten) through October 25, 2025 in the Barbara Conrad Gallery. 44 works by local artists are on exhibit along with 10 entries from the Quick Draw competition. Workout using your own body weight or light hand weights to work all the body parts! The free classes are always similar in style but always different moves to keep it fun and fresh. You’ll need a yoga mat & light hand weights. If you don’t have them, they are extras that can be used. Each class is around 35 min. long. Modifications are always available. It’s always a fun, upbeat, encouraging, and a great workout. Taught by Tammy Williams, certified fitness instructor. All ages and fitness levels are welcome! Baby Time is tailored for babies from birth-12 months together with their favorite adult! Enjoy 15-20 minutes of early literacy activities followed by a playgroup. We sing songs, bounce to action rhymes, and share stories, providing a rich environment for babies to hear language and interact with others.
