Create Art and Tea is now hosting First Friday. First Friday is an effort to bring art and charitable foundations together. On the First Friday of every month, Create Art and Tea will host an art opening featuring new artists. Featured artists will choose a charity to support. A portion of the proceeds made from purchased art will go to the organization of choice. On opening night, you can expect light refreshments, live musical performances, the opportunity to meet the artists, and hear about the charitable organizations. The works for sale will remain in the loft area of the gallery for the remaining duration of each month. Community Family Yoga

Don’t miss the Festival of the Arts from June 5th-7th at the Tennyson Sculpture Garden in Downtown Pagosa Springs. The Tennyson Sculpture Garden is located at 475 Lewis Street, one block north of HWY 160. Thirty-two juried artists, jewelers and skilled artisians will have their work on display and available for purchase. There will be live music Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday. Delicious food, snow cones and drinks will be available all three days. The event runs Friday from 5-8, Saturday, 10-5 and Sunday 10-4. Parking is available at the new public lot on HWY 160 and on Lewis Street. Construction has the west entrance to Lewis Street closed. Proceed east on HWY 160 to the next stop light and turn left on 4th Street/Hot Springs Boulevard. (Peak Deli) then left on Lewis Street. Equality Pagosa hosts a "Stand Up Saturday" event from noon until 2PM every week in the public parking lot next to the Ruby Sisson Library.
