Each Thursday there will be a different experience to engage in after school. From sound bowls to crafts, teens can break up the Spring Fever with something new happening each Thursday in the teen area!
The Durango Arts Center presents youth theater camps for children in kindergarten through second grade, Thursdays from 4 to 5pm, March 26th through May 14th. Registration and details are at durangoarts.org
Students will learn character creation, imaginative storytelling, music, and movement. Full and half scholarships are available.
Join us in the community room for games (Xbox, Oculus, Roblox, etc), activities, music, and snacks! On the third Thursday of each month, watch for something special: possibly cooking, maybe international snacks - who knows?!
Free music every Thursday at Uncle’s Bar and Social Club. Pagosa’s newest bar and best local gathering place. House band Connie the Soldier and musicians welcome for an open jam. Folk, Americana, and Celtic music.
Join Killer Reads, the ultimate book club for fans of real-life mysteries, criminal investigations, and psychological suspense.

Sound bowl therapy, also known as a sound bath, uses harmonic vibrations to promote deep relaxation, reduce stress, and enhance mental clarity. Maria’s Literary Foundation's Second Annual Read-a-Thon Fundraiser takes place from April 10th through 20th. Details and sign up are available at mariasbookshop.com.
During the Read-a-Thon, volunteer readers sit and read in the front window of Maria’s Bookshop to raise money for the Literary Foundation’s Reading Room.
• Readers log their time read over the course of the Read-a-Thon, including their window shift.• Readers are encouraged to secure ‘sponsorships’ to raise money for The Reading Room.• Donors may sponsor individual readers or donate in support of all readers• Maria’s Bookshop will match all donations• Special prizes (a Year of Books!) for our biggest fundraisers and top
