Join a ranger to learn how to navigate the USA Jobs website, where all federal jobs are posted. Aztec Ruins will be hosting two one-hour long workshops at Aztec Ruins National Monument, the first on Sunday, October 12 at 2:00pm, and the second on Wednesday, October 15 at 7:00pm. We'll show you how to create a resume, and how to search for and apply for federal jobs.
The League of Women Voters will host the Durango School District Board Candidate Forum at 3:30 on Sunday, October 12th at the Durango VFW.

Every other week, EsoTerra Ciderwork's new venue on the corner of College and Main Ave will host a Jazz/Funk/Soul Jam Session with a different musical theme. Seasoned local musicians will guide regional and visiting musicians (everyone's invited!) through a jam session to hone their talents, and to connect musicians to other musicians. Hosted indoors during the winter months, and on the patio during the warm months.

The Animas Valley Grange will host its first annual "Crocktober" Fundraiser Cookoff on Sunday, October 12th at 6 pm. Details are on their Facebook page.
Make your favorite crockpot meal or dessert and bring it to the Animas Valley Grange to share and compete for prizes. Cost is $5 to enter or $10 for those without a crockpot entry. A special Silver Ladle award and gift certificate will be presented to the People’s Choice winner with gift certificates for best vegetarian and best dessert entries.The Animas Valley Grange is located at 7271 CR 203. The Durango Arts Center presents the exhibit “Nature’s Tapestry in Plein Air” (Plein rhymes with ten) through October 25, 2025 in the Barbara Conrad Gallery. 44 works by local artists are on exhibit along with 10 entries from the Quick Draw competition. Most of the works are for sale. Gallery hours are Noon – 6:00 pm, Tuesday – Saturday. Information can be found at www.durangoarts.org

HIIT stands for High Intense Interval Training. Each class will consist of a demonstration, warm-up, and 10-12 stations where we will focus on a specific body group per station. We will rotate through 3 rounds with a short break between each round. When the work out is over we cool down and stretch.
All equipment will be provided. These HIITs will be outside, please plan accordingly and bring your own water.
