The Durango Arts Center presents the exhibit Leonard Davies: The Joys of Painting as a Pastime January 9 - February 28, 2026 in the Barbara Conrad Gallery. Davies retired from a distinguished career as a civil rights attorney, and began oil painting at the age of 70. His show features southwest landscapes, and is free to the public Tuesday - Saturday, Noon - 6 pm. An opening reception will take place from 5-7 pm, Friday, January 9.
The goal of this group is to provide a safe space for women to connect, share experiences, mentor one another in various areas of experience, and find encouragement. Women will help other women to provide emotional support, practical advice, and a sense of community, helping women navigate various challenges and build confidence.

ope is an eccentric genre blending funk-rock-jam fusion band who keeps the energy high and the dance floor moving. The members of Yope steer the improvised atmospheric scape of their jams to places that feel familiar to each of their various influences. The crowd often leaves with strain in their voices from chanting “Yope is dope!”

The San Juan Symphony Presents: "Mozart and the Romantics," with two performances: at 7:30PM on Friday at the Community Concert Hall at Fort Lewis College - and at 3PM on Saturday at the Henderson Performance Hall at San Juan College in Farmington.Details are at sanjuansymphony.org.
Symphony No. 40 by Mozart is presented as part of a three-year project to perform the final three symphonies of this musical genius. The concert also features music by 19th century Romantic masters, plus Barber’s Adagio.

Theater Ensemble Arts presents “Ken Ludwig’s Lend Me A Tenor”. Saunders, the general manager of the Cleveland Grand Opera Company, is primed to welcome world-famous singer Tito Merelli, the greatest tenor of his generation, to appear for one night only as the star of the opera. Tito arrives late, and through a hilarious series of mishaps, he is given a double dose of tranquilizers, passes out, and Saunders and his assistant Max believe he’s dead. In a frantic attempt to salvage the evening, Saunders persuades Max to get into Merelli's costume and fool the audience into thinking he's Tito.
