The San Juan College School of business and the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program will provide free income tax preparation to the community Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, through April 13th. A Homebuyer Education Class takes place at the Pine River Library in Bayfield from 8:30 to 4:30 on Saturday, March 28th.Topics covered include budgeting, credit, insurance, lending, real estate, and more. Homesfund.org has more information.
The class also opens access to “Down Payment Assistance” for qualified families. Register for the class at https://homesfund.org/attend-a-class/. There is a $19 fee for the workbook used in class.

The Mesa Verde National Park Annual Volunteer Open House takes placeon:- Saturday (3/28) from 10am to noon and from 1 to 3pm.- and on Monday (3/30) from 1 until 3pm.

On Saturday, March 28th, a group of approximately 100 to 125 concerned citizens from northern New Mexico will participate in a non-violent, peaceful NO KINGS protest rally on the easement of the Chama Senior Center along highway 84 and 64. The local NO KINGS Rally is sponsored by a local group, the Citizens Alliance of Northern New Mexico (CAN-NM). CAN-NM will be joining the NO KINGS protests which are happening across the entire United States.
Equality Pagosa hosts a "Stand Up Saturday" event from noon until 2PM every week in the public parking lot next to the Ruby Sisson Library.
Everyone is invited to exercise their 1st Amendment rights at these gatherings.

The Durango Arts Center and Our Own Lives presents the second annual exhibit Disability Art Show, through April 4th in the Barbara Conrad Gallery. Our Own Lives is a non-profit organization that provides direct services to the disability community in Southwest Colorado. Their show features work by more than two dozen local artists. , and is free to the public Tuesday - Saturday, Noon - 6 pm.
