Oct 16 Thursday
Each Thursday there will be a different experience to engage in after school. From sound bowls to crafts, teens can break up the Spring Fever with something new happening each Thursday in the teen area!
Every Thursday join us for Xbox, PlayStation, Oculus, food, and fun!
Join us in the community room for games (Xbox, Oculus, Roblox, etc), activities, music, and snacks! On the third Thursday of each month, watch for something special: possibly cooking, maybe international snacks - who knows?!
Join us for make and take projects! This program is geared toward a teen skill level but is open to all.
The 7th-grade humanities class at Mountain Middle School would like to cordially invite the public to its first exhibition of the year. The exhibition, entitled “The Evolution of Storytelling,” will feature group presentations and author book talks. The event will showcase a collection of student work, including short story multimedia projects and artwork. Throughout this project, students have grappled with questions like Why do Humans tell stories? How has storytelling evolved? and Why do our stories matter? Join us as we attempt to answer these important questions through the perspective of our 7th-grade storytellers. The exhibition is on Thursday, October 16th, at Mountain Middle School from 5-6:00 pm. We hope to see you there! For more information, contact Nancy at nancy.wickham@mountainmiddleschool.org.

Workout using your own body weight or light hand weights to work all the body parts! The free classes are always similar in style but always different moves to keep it fun and fresh. You’ll need a yoga mat & light hand weights. If you don’t have them, they are extras that can be used. Each class is around 35 min. long. Modifications are always available. It’s always a fun, upbeat, encouraging, and a great workout. Taught by Tammy Williams, certified fitness instructor. All ages and fitness levels are welcome! Follow us on the Mountaintop Movement Facebook page for more info. Note: sometimes this class may be held outside in the Library Park!
This is a continuation of our 2024 D&D group. New members are welcome, and no experience is necessary, but know that you need to set up a character before you can join the campaign. Please reach out at kelly@prlibrary.org to schedule a time for that!
