Desk & Derrick of Farmington's annual golf tournament fundraiser for student scholarships for San Juan College takes place on Friday, September 12th at the Pinon Hills Golf Course.

A non-profit organization that enhances and fosters a positive image to the community by promoting the contribution of the petroleum, energy, and allied industries through education.

Art classes for adults and youth continue at the Durango Arts Center in comic book creation, stained glass, adult portrait painting, figure drawing, pottery and more. Details and registration are at durangoarts.org.

The Colorado Department of Public Health will conduct a vaccine clinic at the Fort Lewis College Student Union from 11am to 5pm on Friday, September 12th.

Any resident of Durango may obtain vaccines. There may be COVID and Flu shots, but the supply and timing is predicted for later in September.

Join us in the community room for games (Xbox, Oculus, Roblox, etc), activities, music, and snacks! On the third Thursday of each month, watch for something special: possibly cooking, maybe international snacks - who knows?!

Mahjong is a tile-based table-top game developed in 19th century China. Similar to the Western card game rummy, mahjong is a game of skill, strategy, and luck. It is entertaining to play and, like dominoes, is relatively easy to learn.
