KSUT Thanksgiving Programming Schedule

KSUT will offer special programming on Thanksgiving day including holiday favorites 'Alice's Restaurant', Splendid Table's Turkey Confidential, and a special broadcast of Mohican singer-songwriter Bill Miller's recent performance from the Four Corners Folk Festival.

Wednesday, 11/24, Four Corners Public Radio:

7-9 PM: Tales of the New West Thanksgiving Feast
Chris Aaland gets us in the holiday mood for food prep with his annual musical feast.

Thanksgiving Day, Four Corners Public Radio and Tribal Radio:

6-9 AM: Morning Edition

9-10 AM: Morning Blend
An hour of music devoted to Thanksgiving, starting with our annual broadcast of Arlo Guthrie's Alice's Restaurant.

10-noon: The Splendid Table's Turkey Confidential 2021
Francis Lamm will be joined by special guests including Southern baking goddess Cheryl Day of Back in the Day Bakery, the charming Pati Jinich, author of the forthcoming Treasures of the Mexican Table and host of the new PBS Primetime special La Frontera, Co-authors of the newest book, Cooking at Home, Chef David Chang and food journalist Priya Krishna, and J.Kenji Lopez-Alt of Serious Eats.

12 noon-2 PM: NPR's Here & Now

2-3 PM: Undercurrents Native Music Special
featuring songs from the legendary Buffy Sainte-Marie, John Trudell, Pura Fe, Ulali and more.

3-4 PM: Bill Miller - A special Native American Heritage Month celebration. We’ll broadcast highlights of Bill’s spiritual and emotional set from the 25th annual Four Corners Folk Festival this past Labor Day Weekend. We'll also be posting a link to the audio on Thursday afternoon, in case you miss the broadcast. This encore presentation of Bill Miller’s performance on Reservoir Hill is generously supported by The Greenery.

4-6 PM: All Things Considered/return to regular programming
