Victoria Vox (ukulele, voice & mouth trumpet) and Jack Maher (bass ukulele, voice & guitar) will do a live KSUT session, Thursday 4/7 at 1:30 PM. They're in town for the Rocky Mountain Ukefest July 7-10.

The 7th annual Rocky Mountain UkeFest takes place at The Smiley Building and other Durango venues, July 7-9, 2022. First stop is KSUT where special guests Jack & The Vox - Victoria Vox and Jack Maher - will join host Chris Aaland for a live in-studio session, Thursday, at 1:30 PM.

Ukulele-toting-mouth-trumpeting-songster Victoria Vox and guitar-slinging-singing-jokester Jack Maher reconnected 18 years after first meeting at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. Both established performers in their own right, the moniker Jack & the Vox was almost too good to be true. Since eloping in 2016, the two have been writing and performing together in between their own gigs. Stylistically it’s a bit Americana, jazz, folk, and pop but really, there are no boundaries.

Jack & The Vox and Company including Kevin Carroll, KSUT's Jim Belcher and local percussionist Dave Sachs will perform at the Concert Hall @ The Park at Buckley Park in downtown Durango at 5:30 PM Thursday.

Workshops and events continue through the weekend. Visit rockymountainukefest.com for a complete schedule.
