It's day 2 of KSUT's Spring Fund Drive, and we'll be making a big announcement at 8 a.m., hosting guests throughout the day, and drawing for fun and adventurous prizes. Get in on the action and pledge your support for KSUT.
Today's Guests:
8 a.m., Jim Turner, Production Manager for July 4th KSUT and Community Concert Hall event at the La Plata County Fairgrounds and will announce the artist!
9:30 a.m., meet KSUT's newest board member Mikki Naranjo, hosted by Tami Graham and broadcast on both Four Corners Public Radio and Tribal Radio.
10:00 a.m., Amanda Anne Platt (of the Honeycutters) will join Chris Aaland for a live virtual KSUT Session. Amanda and her full band will perform at the Four Corners Folk Festival over Labor Day weekend.
4-5 p.m., Wynn Jones from KSJD will join Tami Graham around All Things Considered.
5-6 p.m., Tami will also host Liz Perry of Crow Canyon Archaeological Center to discuss our Day Prize, a full tour of their beautiful facility.
Morning Prize: a pair of tickets to Sarah Jarosz at the Community Concert Hall at Fort Lewis College, April 13, plus a $50 Gift Card to Bird’s, drawn at 12 noon.
Afternoon Prize, 2 Winners: Osprey Backpacks w/KSUT Swag, drawn at 5 p.m.
Day Prize:
Crow Canyon Archaeological Center Tour for 4:
- includes tour and lunch with Dr. Liz Perry
- a 3-hour tour of the Center’s campus and projects, including an introductory talk, a visit to the laboratory, an optional hike around the campus, and a visit to an active archaeological dig.
