Attendees, staff, volunteers and performers will be required to present proof of full Covid-19 vaccination or a negative Covid-19 test in order to attend the 25th annual Four Corners Folk Festival on Reservoir Hill in Pagosa Springs over Labor Day weekend.

“As the Four Corners Folk Festival nears, our team has been working hard to produce the event in a controlled, safe and enjoyable environment,” said KSUT Executive Director Tami Graham. “The safety of all participants and our community is paramount. As such, we have kept in mind that regulations could tighten, understanding that the nature of the pandemic can change from day-to-day.

“In response to the growing threat of the delta variant, and in addition to the measures we already have in place, proof of full vaccination or proof of a negative Covid-19 test within 48-hours of entry will now be required for all festival entry,” Graham added.

KSUT’s guidelines are similar to those implemented by other regional festivals like Telluride Jazz, Telluride Blues & Brews and the San Juan Brewfest, as well as major national music events like Bonnaroo.

“This is an important safety precaution implemented to protect our festival attendees, staff, artists, vendors, volunteers and community members,” noted Graham. “The music industry collectively wants to continue to be able to bring music to you and is urging promoters to adopt these safety protocols, even when local or state regulations do not require it. Your cooperation and participation is appreciated.”

For those unvaccinated, a limited number of free rapid tests will be available on-site. Graham recommends attendees not count on a rapid test on-site but rather either get fully vaccinated before the festival or plan for obtaining a rapid test within 48-hours of entering the festival.
