Four Corners Edition, May 26, 2022: Highlights from the CD3 GOP debate in Ignacio; hiking among the hoodoos of the Bisti/De-Na-Zin Wilderness

On this week's show:

  • A look at Thursday’s Third Congressional District Republican debate between incumbent U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert and her challenger, Colorado Sen. Don Coram.
  • OHVs are taking to the Alpine Loop connecting Silverton, Ouray, and Lake City. We’ll hear what law enforcement officials are doing to keep the peace on the high-altitude road this summer.
  • For our regular feature Southwest Sampler, Fort Lewis College History Professor Andrew Gulliford visits the Bisti/De-Na-Zin Wilderness in northwest New Mexico. There, among the moonscape of sandstone hoodoos and pinnacles, dwells the "Bisti Beast."

Four Corners Edition is a presentation of KSUT Four Corners PublicRadio and KSUT Tribal Radio. The production staff includes Ken Brott, Stasia Lanier, and Lorena Richards. Mark Duggan is the Senior Producer and Editor. The show's theme music was composed and performed by Jonas Grushkin.
