Thursday December 31, 2015:

1 PM – 3 PM: Best of the KSUT Music Blend 2015 – Join KSUT Music Director Stasia Lanier for a review of some of the best songs heard on the Music Blend over the past year.

3 PM - 4 PM - Capitol Steps Politics Takes A Holiday New Year's 2015 Edition - Faster than Joe Biden deciding whether to run for President! More powerful than the wind it takes to finally blow off Donald Trump’s hair! Join Hillary, Bernie, the Donald, Jeb, Marco, Carly, and more Republican candidates than you can shake a stick at!

7 PM – 9 PM: The Colorado Sound Year in Review – Host Chris K. plays the year's best releases and reviews 12 months of news from Colorado-based artists.

9 PM – MIDNIGHT: Toast of the Nation 2015/2016 - The New Year’s tradition continues with jazz you can party to all night long. Hear performances from Wycliffe Gordon, Wynton Marsalis, Dianne Reeves, Snarky Puppy, and more. It’s sure to be a non-stop celebration of musical fireworks that will keep you dancing and swinging all night long.

MIDNIGHT – 5 AM: Toast of the Nation 2015/2016

9 AM – 10- AM: Capitol Steps: Politics Takes a Holiday New Year's 2015 Edition - Faster than Joe Biden deciding whether to run for President! More powerful than the wind it takes to finally blow off Donald Trump’s hair! Join Hillary, Bernie, the Donald, Jeb, Marco, Carly, and more Republican candidates than you can shake a stick at!

10 AM – 11 AM: Frank Sinatra: The New Year's Concert Special – A celebration of the 100th birth anniversary of Frank Sinatra. Selections from a previously unreleased performance by Sinatra and Count Basie from 1966, a previously unreleased late night and loose performance at the Sands in Las Vegas, and late 1950's sets with Red Norvo and Nelson Riddle and his Orchestra.

11 AM – NOON: Professor Mikey's New Year's Revolution - What do Bing Crosby, Death Cab for Cutie, and Blind Lemon Jefferson have in common? Is the best New Year's duet of all time sung by Otis Redding and Carla Thomas? And what's Carl Sagan doing in here? A celebration of New Year's music, from old blues classics, to Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, to an absolute wacko resolution romp with Spike Jones and the City Slickers, and much more.

12 PM – 2 PM: World Cafe New Year's Special – David Dye remembers the best music of 2015, and looks ahead at what we can expect from 2016 with NPR Music’s Ann Powers.

2 PM – 4 PM: Best of the Best 2015: Documentaries from the Third Coast Fest – Hear some of the best audio documentaries of 2015, winners of the 2015 TC/Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Competition. Best of the Best includes pieces from Radiolab's Jad Abumrad, the program American Abroad, and the podcasts 99% Invisible and Love + Radio.
