Author Chuck Greaves writes from McElmo Canyon southwest of Cortez. He’s perhaps best known for his Jack MacTaggart series of legal mysteries, including Hush Money and Green-Eyed Lady. He also penned Church of the Graveyard Saints, which featured a Four Corners setting.

His book Tom & Lucky, a historical fiction about the 1930s-era gangster Lucky Luciano, was named a “Best Book of 2015” by the Wall Street Journal, and he won the SouthWest Writers International Writing Contest in 2010.

Greaves is back with a new installment in the Jack McTaggart series called The Chimera Club.

He joined Tami Graham for a KSUT Conversation. They started by talking about how his McElmo Canyon environment influences his writing.
