The West Slope Westies present a 6-week beginner Swing Dance class at the Smiley Building, beginning Wednesday, May 29th at 7:30pm. Details and registration are available at westslopewesties.com.

HIIT stands for High Intense Interval Training. Each class will consist of a demonstration, warm-up, and 10-12 stations where we will focus on a specific body group per station. We will rotate through 3 rounds with a short break between each round. When the work out is over we cool down and stretch.
All equipment will be provided. These HIITs will be outside, please plan accordingly and bring your own water.

The Bonnie Dallas Senior Center in Farmington presents the High Desert Games Senior Olympics. Registration opens Monday, February 12th and the games run March 15th through May 31st. The Games are open to those 50 years and up - and will feature table tennis, darts, bocce ball, and field day... to shuffleboard, pickleball, chess, and more. This class lets us move dynamically from one posture to another. We create awareness and harmony between the mind and body that allows us to remove stress and anxiety. We use our breath to move deeper into our body while warming, lengthening, and strengthening our muscles.
All you need is a yoga mat and a water bottle. Some yoga tools such as blocks, a blanket and a strap are encouraged.
These classes are on a donation basis.
