Join us in the community room for games (Xbox, Oculus, Roblox, etc), activities, music, and snacks! On the third Thursday of each month, watch for something special: possibly cooking, maybe international snacks - who knows?!

4 Corners Tabletop Night is a place for tabletop gamers in the 4 Corners area to meet up and get their miniatures to the table. We play a variety of games and welcome players of all skill levels. We strongly encourage joining our Discord Server for event information, hobby inspiration, and tabletop chat. Join us at the library every 2nd and 3rd Friday of the month!

Author, journalist ultra runner Katie Arnold will be in conversation with local writer Heather Hansman. Arnold is a longtime journalist and bestselling author of Brief Flashings in the Phenomenal World: Zen and the Art of Running Free (2024), a finalist for the 2024 Foreword INDIES Book of the Year Awards, which tells the story of a traumatic wilderness accident and her path to healing. Her critically acclaimed memoir, Running Home, was published in 2019.

The public is invited to the Powerhouse annual fall fundraiser, "STEAM Fest." The event takes place from 6 to 9 on Friday, October 10th, and will include science demonstrations, live music from The Monkberries, an auction, plus dinner and drinks. Powsci.org has more information.

The Durango Arts Center presents the exhibit “Nature’s Tapestry in Plein Air” (Plein rhymes with ten) through October 25, 2025 in the Barbara Conrad Gallery. 44 works by local artists are on exhibit along with 10 entries from the Quick Draw competition. Most of the works are for sale. Gallery hours are Noon – 6:00 pm, Tuesday – Saturday. Information can be found at www.durangoarts.org
