Friday afternoons are all about having fun building, playing, exploring, and creating together!

Friday Fun is a weekly after-school program that blends creativity and curiosity through hands-on experiences. Each week alternates between art-focused activities and STEM challenges. Drop in and end your week with fun!

Friday afternoons are all about having fun building, playing, exploring, and creating together! 1st Friday of the month: STEM, 2nd & 4th Friday: LEGO, 3rd Friday: Art. If there's a 5th Friday, we'll let you know what it will be! Great for ages 5-12 and families!

NOTE: The library will be closed on November 28th.

Heartwood Cohousing 4th Friday Potluck
4th Friday Potlucks are a great way to meet the folks who live at Heartwood and get a sense of the community. If you long for a greater sense of peace and belonging in your life and a healthier lifestyle fostered by living in community and close to Nature, we invite you to come to the potluck and optional tour. Table Top Game Society at Fort Lewis Mesa Library for grades 6-12. Play D&D and other fun games.

It’s like an escape room only you don’t escape, and we have drinks! Follow the clues and beat the clock to find the treasure. Most Fridays. Must register online in advance.

The Blue Star Moms of Durango present a large-scale flag display in tribute to fallen veterans and first responders. The opening ceremony takes place at 8:30pm on Friday, May 22nd at Santa Rita Park.
The closing ceremony takes place on Monday, May 25th at 4pm. Volunteers are needed for set up and removal of flags.
